Star of Wonder

Well, I didn't get to craft quite as much as I wanted to, but I did sneak in a little time to make this adorable block (if I say so myself)! I really wanted to create a wine cork Christmas tree (see previous post), but the soccer fields were calling my name (as a parent spectator). So, I just grabbed a star from my star stash (everyone has a start stash, right?) and went to work.

I painted, sprinkled glitter, glued and distressed and stamped with ink. Simple, but sweet. I'm going to keep it on my mantle until someone purchases it from my etsy shop.

 Hope to get more crafting on this week, but my parents are coming down for Thanksgiving and the kids are home so that may be next to impossible between cooking and cleaning!!
