Look What I Found! And bought.

Yes. Another typewriter. I just couldn’t resist it…even though I have one exactly like it in my office. I love estate sales. I knew it was a good price at $30, but I told the woman running the estate sale that I would be back the next day when everything goes half price. She said, “take it now, and you can have it for $20.”
I took it, brought it home and my husband just shook his head.

I also found this adorable, handcrafted (glass? It’s really heavy) snowman (a mere 50 cents) to add to my collection:

And this lovely old electric conductor – blue, my favorite.

These awesome vintage license plates – anyone have any cool ideas for those?

And how about this metal pitcher? Love it!

And look… a stash of wooden spools, old wood dominoes, old rulers, and misc. game pieces.

There’s actually more stuff, but I was running out of light to take photos. Did I mention that I love estate sales?

NICE! My hubby used to fix typewriters. He also used to collect insulators (opposite of conductors). You two would get along! :)

OH! btw...love that old ruler! I have one that's similar!

I love estate sales too! Good thing we don't shop together because we would be fighting for the same things! I have three old typewriters that I just love.

....hahahahaha....Renee you're INCORRIGIBLE but I LIKE your way of thinkin'....!!

I'm LOVIN' your typewriter & am terribly ENVIOUS of your calm demeaner....I reckon I would have been hoppin' around like a chook....hahahahaha....!

THANK YOU so much for your comment re my recent 'mishap'....Although I winced when I read of your disaster with the liquid sander, it made me feel better to know I wasn't alone....I'm AOK now save for a raspy throat that'll linger a while to remind me to not be so head strong in future....!!!!!

Here's hoping you have a WONDERFUL week & are INUNDATED with estate sales....!!

Cheers from Oz,
Tamarah :o)

Great finds! My Dad had an old Underwood like that...why did I not keep it! Especially when I think of all his Masters Degree work and tests he typed on it!

I also enjoy going to estate sales. I tend to get depressed as well, but still keep going. You found some interesting and different goodies.

Great finds! It looks like what I learned to type on. Love the tin pitcher too! I don't go to many sales, no one to go with... :-( Bird house roofs are great to make with the license plates. Have a blessed week. Debbie

WOW! Your vintage finds are fabulous. This is such a fun post to read and look at. Estate sales are the best....if our legs can take standing for a long time. Sometimes I have seen them have chairs for the bidders to sit in, but usually not in my case.

Great finds. You can never have too many typewriters can you? That metal pitcher caught my eye too. I used to have glasses like that and they kept the drinks soooo cold.

Great vintage goodies!! I am loving your aluminum pitcher. I remember my grandma having one with a set of glasses that she served iced tea in.

Blessings!
