Soccered Out, But Lovin' It

Yep, the tale of the soccer mom. I’m tired. Two games yesterday and heading to flea markets and garage sales in-between can wear a gal out. Top it off with two games today and a lot of work to do and I’m now officially a bobble head.

But, I thought that I’d share a few fun finds with you from the Brumwells flea market – it’s an outdoor flea market in a huge gravel parking lot. Some of the vendors are straight out of American Pickers – some downright scary -- but I did score some cool stuff. First, this really cool old baby buggy wheel. I’ll figure out something to do with it. Also, got this wonderful old shoe mold. I’m going to use it as a doorstop (until it sells, that is). And that giant, gaudy gold frame you see in the background, well, it’s going to be gorgeous useful … just you wait and see!

Also, scored a plethora of old wood boxes to paint and refurbish – they are all stacked in my craft room waiting for a fresh look.

By the way, my son’s (and husband’s) team won the tournament so it was a happy day at the Z’s!

Congrats to your son (and husband) for winning the tournament!
I'd say you are pretty organized to get to the soccer games and sneak in a flea market too!
Looking forward to seeing what you create with your treasures.
