I am in love. Robin’s Egg Blue. Need I say more?
It’s my new favorite color to paint everything. Boxes, light switch covers, trinkets, the dog, the car…you name it! (kidding about the car).
It’s so fresh and bright; it clearly speaks of spring (my second favorite season). No, it’s not on the radar for color of the year, no it’s not trendy and no, I’m not painting the walls with it.
But, yes, I love it and if you go to my etsy shop, you’ll see a lot of it.
Here’s box that’s for sale at a local shop.
A light switch cover plate for sale in my etsy shop.
A little block of inspiration (that's in my shop, too)
The photo at the top is a little jar I got at an estate sale. I was going to sell it, but I like it so much after painting and antiquing it, I just can't part with it!
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
What about you? What color makes you think of spring?

Yellow! I am in total spring mode when I see yellow. ;) I'm waiting for the wild daffodils to bloom in my backyard so I can pluck them and place them all over my house...
BTW, that blue is very pretty and I have my eye on that starfish block. ;)
Oh Renee your 'Robins Egg Blue' is GLORIOUS....I'm a 1950's green girl....Celadon I think....
I don't know if you're familiar with the English company, J&G Meakin....? Well in any case they produced a range of china back in the 50's in four colours: Rosa, Celeste, Sunshine & Jade....It's the JADE I adore....THAT'S the colour that makes ME smile & think of spring....!!
Cheers for now Lovey,
Tamarah :o)
I love "Robins Egg Blue", it makes me think of little eggs ready to hatch.
I think I love robin's egg blue now, too. Very much. I think I need to run to the craft store and buy some REB paint. :) I love that little jar. You should keep it! It's too cute to part with!
