Yesterday was soooo beautiful and the kids were off from school so we decided to go frog and fossil hunting at Calvert Cliffs, a beautiful park about an hour south of us. Kellen and I took our backpack, frog net and bucket and journeyed about four miles into the wilderness -- well, it was a rugged hiking path. We did find tons of frogs, but didn't catch any...they were just too fast! However, Kellen did find a fossilized shark's tooth, some fossilized sting ray teeth and I found some pretty shells. I'm thinking that some may make great backdrops for vintage jewelry pieces...who knows what they'll become?
